Fly the islands on board the fastest, smoothest yacht in the British Virgin Islands.
Cocktails on the flybridge, the turbo diesels spin up, twin rooster tails fountain from astern. You sip, the ship rises on hydrofoil, the chartplotter reads 36 knots. The captain’s holding back in comfort cruise. She’ll do 45 knots. And you won’t spill a drop.
You’re aboard EAGLE RAY, a 54-foot, three-stateroom power catamaran – and the fastest, smoothest riding yacht in the islands.
One of only three of its kind in the world, EAGLE RAY’s advanced design and technology unites wide-beam comfort, style, speed and fuel economy into an unforgettable cruising experience.
Starting from the top, there’s a huge covered flybridge with in-line seating to watch the boats fly by and a dining/lounge area with bar, icemaker, and barbecue. Go down ladder to another dining/lounging/sunning place in the oversize cockpit that seats six and parties even more. With an 18-foot beam EAGLE RAY feels and plays like a much bigger yacht.
Go inside to a high ceiling salon with twin sofas, flat screen television with Direct TV, and Bose Surround Sound for satellite radio, DVD, or iPod with separate controls for cockpit and flybridge. Clerestory windows keep the space airy and bright and there’s a pass-through to another sunning area on the bow.
All interior spaces are fully air conditioned with individual controls.
The forward/port/starboard cabin layout makes for maximum privacy with additional captain’s quarters well forward – there if you need him, invisible if you don’t. Forward is a full-beam master suite with a California king bed, en suite shower and sink port and separate head and sink starboard, as well as sofa, desk, and flat screen television with Direct TV and DVD. Port and starboard cabins each have queen beds and en suite shower and head.
EAGLE RAY comes equipped to keep you in the water with snorkel gear, six internally stored scuba tanks, and RIB. With it’s own watermaker and two icemakers, you can stay on the water as long as the bar stock holds up.
About 50 gph, EAGLE RAY represents “freedom” from the usual cruising itinerary. All points of interest in the BVI are reachable within 60 minutes. Anegada and the USVI can now be part of your vacation cruise without sacrificing any of the BVI. Each morning wake up and decide. You can fly anywhere in the BVI in just minutes on EAGLE RAY. You may even want to consider Anguilla/St. Martin/St. Barths, it’s only about three hours away…
