DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS
A 25% deposit is required to reserve a yacht if the booking is made more than six months in advance of the departure date. A second 25% deposit is due six months prior to departure. Any booking made within six months of the departure date requires a 50% deposit. The balance is due on the date outlined in your contract, which is normally 60 days prior to departure.
Charter Sailing Unlimited will accept personal checks, VISA or MasterCard for all deposits and final payments. Should a VISA or MasterCard be used for payment, a 4% convenience charge will be assessed on the amount charged.
Due to the stringent cancellation policies of the charter industry, Charter Sailing Unlimited only accepts VISA or MasterCard charges with a signed Credit Card Authorization and Travel Insurance Waiver.

The following are two essential documents you'll need to complete and return to Charter Sailing Unlimited.
If you are using a VISA or MasterCard for the deposit or final payment of your charter fee, it is necessary that we have a copy on file of a signed Credit Card Authorization Form. After you have printed out and completed this document please return it to Charter Sailing Unlimited.
It's not mandatory that you purchase Travel Guard Travel Insurance from us, but it is necessary that we have a copy on file of a signed Travel Insurance Waiver. After you have printed out and completed this document please return it to Charter Sailing Unlimited within 3 days of receiving your Charter Agreement.
Charter Sailing Unlimited recommends that you protect your vacation investment by purchasing the Travel Guard Vacation Protection Deluxe policy we offer here on-line. Click on the Travel Guard logo to learn more about this comprehensive insurance coverage and the rates available.
Travel Guard recommends that you use the Online Application Form on this website to purchase your insurance coverage. If you are uncomfortable using the link provided above, Charter Sailing Unlimited will be happy to mail you a hard copy of the policy.
The cost of the Travel Guard policy offered on this website is based on the amount of dollar expense you want to cover. A second element that comes into play is a decision made by you as to which additional options provide you with the best coverage for the budget you set.
To receive a quote on-line regarding the cost of the Travel Guard Vacation Protection Deluxe policy, click on the Travel Guard Logo and fill-in the State/Province of Residence, then hit "Continue". At this point you can review what the policy offers when you click on "More Info".
After reviewing the information provided on this page click on "Buy Now". (Don’t worry you’re not actually buying anything yet.) On this new page you will enter your travel dates, the trip deposit date, and the amount of trip expense you'll want to cover for each person in your party. If you want to take advantage of any Optional Coverage offered just click on the adjoining boxes. Now click on "Get Quote" and the tool will show you the cost of your coverage. You now have the option to purchase your trip insurance directly on-line from this website.
It may sound complicated, but it's not. By the way, you are not required to purchase travel insurance from Charter Sailing Unlimited, but I highly recommend you look into this type of coverage. The most difficult thing for me as a broker is when a client calls with a problem and I'm not in the position to help.

CONFIRMATION OF CHARTER YACHT RESERVATION
To receive confirmation of your charter yacht reservation it is necessary that you fax a copy of the signed Charter Agreement along with your Travel Insurance Waiver to Charter Sailing Unlimited within three days of receipt.
Once a copy of your signed Charter Agreement, Travel Insurance Waiver, and your Deposit Check, or signed Credit Card Authorization are in our office, the yacht's clearing house will issue a confirmation number for the yacht on the dates outlined in your Charter Agreement.
It's important we have a good clean copy of the Charter Agreement to send to your Captain for his signature, so it's also necessary that you mail the hard copy to Charter Sailing Unlimited at your earliest convenience.
