AYACANORA – Fully Crewed Luxury Charter Yacht

Welcome aboard the fully crewed luxury 72 foot sailing vessel AYACANORA. Built over a three year period and launched in 1981, the AYACANORA is named for the beautiful and willful heroine of the Charles Kingsley classic "Westward Ho!"

The main salon is furnished in the style of a period home. It provides a comfortable living area for watching movies. The spacious dining area accommodates eight guests on a mirror polished mahogany oval table with gimbaled centerpiece. A beautiful staircase from the pilot house provides easy access to the salon.

AYACANORA has completed her refit and is now offering two equal cabins with queen beds & pima cotton sheets, couch, dresser, closet and stand up showers, granite counters, hand painted sinks and oil rubbed bronze fixtures. She won BEST OF SHOW in the British Virgin Islands boat show 2009!

Mike Haver, your Captain, has a 500 ton Masters license and 100 ton sailing endorsement. He was born in Nebraska, however joined he Navy at the age of 18 and developed a passion for the ocean. He spent 10 years in the submarine service and 5 years in the Merchant Marine. Mike enjoys telling sea stories and some history of the islands, pirates, and treasures.

Roberta holds a degree in Culinary Arts and Management and graduated cum laude as a certified chef. She is also a United States Coast Guard certified captain. Roberta takes great pride in serving her guests only the best! She is as capable in the galley as he is behind the helm!
