BREANKER – Virgin Islands Luxury Catamaran For Charter
The following is a wonderful testimonial from a guest I recently booked in the Virgin Islands aboard the luxury catamaran BREANKER:
March 1, 2010
My client's 7 night charter aboard BREANKER!!
I saw the BVI for the first time on my recent catamaran cruise, and I believe it's the best way to thoroughly explore the islands. If you like cruising with long lines to stand in, shocking bar tabs, boring lifeboat drills, and crowds of people, then a catamaran cruise is not for you! Aboard the BREANKER we experienced quite the opposite with an intimate group of 8 passenger, an itinerary tailored to our tastes, and all inclusive liquor and food.
It was a very casual vacation with no dress clothes, rarely even shoes, and no make up or jewelry. We visited Norman Island, Cooper Island, Marina Cay, Sandy Spit, Sandy Cay, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Tortola. Our itinerary was fine tuned daily by the weather to ensure that we would not be in rough seas. We always stayed the night in a calm bay. Sleeping conditions were very good with a private cabin and bathroom for each couple. Meals were prepared by our very talented cook, Marianne, who has artfully mastered the science of food. Fresh fruit and vegetables, homemade breads, seafood salads, breakfast smoothies, and gourmet entrees for dinner exceeded our expectations for meals.
We snorkeled usually twice a day at different spots chosen by our captain. I was very impressed by the quality of the reefs, the variety of fish, and the fact that we could swim or dingy to these gorgeous areas in a couple minutes time.
Beach bars, a little shopping, some fishing, and lots of relaxation filled our days and nights. I never felt rushed through our island stops nor bored with down time...it was the perfect schedule.
The island stops, the food, and the accommodations were all terrific, but most importantly I felt in safe hands with our experienced crew. Kristain and Marianne have been chartering for 18 years and know the BVI like the palms of their hands. They are competent sailors, knowledgeable tour guides, and the most gracious hosts you will ever meet.
This is a vacation that I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed aboard the BREANKER!
