DOUBLE EXPOSURE is available year round and moored just a short ride from Miami International Airport. Pickup and drop off can be anywhere from Miami to Key West. DOUBLE EXPOSURE is offered at very reasonable charter rates, and will do daily rates for shorter getaways. That along with the ease of domestic travel should help the cost conscious traveler or those that have issues with international travel.

DOUBLE EXPOSURE accommodates up to 4 guests in two comfortable well ventilated cabins that are also air-conditioned for those nights that are not so breezy and cool. The deck area offers lots of walk-around room and plenty of space for lounging and enjoying the sun while sailing. A hard top bimini provides plenty of shade in an ample cockpit when you've had enough sun for the day.

Bring your music!! iPod plug-in and DVD players are provided. A selection of movies are onboard for those nights you just want to do nothing but hang out and feel at home.

Special Note From Capt. Scott: It is too much in travel time to push all the way to Key West and back in a one week charter and have a leisurely relaxed pace. It is suggested the guests do one-way charter and pick-up a rental car in Key Largo, Marathon or Key West which allows for a leisurely cruise and a beautiful drive back up the Florida Keys to Miami.

I got to spend a little time with the crew at the recent BVI Charter Yacht Show. I really enjoyed their company. The have great personalities and are lots of fun.

Captain Stejskal was born in the landlocked country of Czechoslovakia. He eventually found his way to the sea to attend the Maritime Academy of the Ukraine. It was here on the black Sea that Petr fell in love with sailing. In 1989 he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marine engineering and headed out to sea.

For the next several years he traveled all over the world on merchant ships as an Engineer Officer. In the early nineties Petr moved to the United States where he founded and operated a yacht service company. When he wasn’t working he was sailing... taking trips to the Bahamas, Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Keys.

A few years ago Petr heard the call of the Caribbean, packed up the shop and sailed to the Windward Islands to do what he loves best. He spent the better part of his time there exploring the jewels of the Caribbean. Now he would like to share these treasures with you.

Petr has over fifteen years of experience as a skipper. He holds a Captain’s License, A Merchant Marine Document and licenses in First Aid/CPR, Marine Radio and Amateur Radio. He speaks fluent English, Russian and Czech.

Tracy Stejskal was raised in the rolling hills of North Carolina. She eventually made her way to the East Cost to attend college. Disregarding her parents’ wishes to return home for summer break, Tracy eagerly accepted a cooking position aboard a sailboat in the enchanting waters of the Bahamas.

While in the Bahamas, she learned to prepare conch (known as lambi in the West Indies) and to catch, clean and cook the “Catch of the Day” – Caribbean style. She was “Hooked”! Every summer thereafter she could be found sailing about the islands.

Even after graduating with a degree in Marine Biology, Tracy chose to continue creating culinary delights aboard yachts in the Caribbean. She returned stateside and for the past fourteen years working exclusively as a Chef/Mate on a privately owned yacht.

Tracy can be your own personal chef. She invites you aboard GENESIS and looks forward to tempting your taste buds with exotic and intriguing Caribbean flavors. All you need to do is bring your appetite.

This spacious modern yacht accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 double cabins with an option for one aft cabin to convert to a twin cabin. All cabins are ensuite with separate showers and electric toilets. The yacht is air conditioned throughout. All the creature comforts you come to expect from a five star cruise.

The salon aboard BLUE PASSION is incredibly spacious; in fact the same size as a 50' catamaran, able to seat 12 guests comfortably. The salon's decor is accented with L.E.D. floor lighting, courtesy lights and real leather sofas. You have to be impressed by the luxurious atmosphere this yacht offers. During a cruise aboard BLUE PASSION guests have the opportunity to participate in a variety of watersports such as Waterskiing, Kayaking, Snorkeling, and Fishing. There is also a complete set of Scuba Diving equipment and a powerful 15 ft inflatable RIB with a 50 hp engine to reach dive sites out of reach from the yacht. Needless to say that 50 hp engine is also capable of towing water skiers.

On deck BLUE PASSION offers a double sized sunbathing mattress to relax on. In her huge cockpit 12 people can sit around and enjoy her sailing performance. On her stern you will find a spacious aft deck perfect for landing fish, preparing to go diving and access for swimming.

A typical day aboard BLUE PASSION consists of the following:

Breakfast will be served in the cockpit. During breakfast a Skipper's brief will take place. Capt. Greg will talk about the day to come including the weather, things to look for, and the day's stops.

Then lift the anchor and begin the first passage. You can help us sail the boat, soak up the sun with a good book or fish from the stern - the choice is yours.

As soon as we arrive at the lunch stop, dive straight in and join our snorkel safari or suit up in the Scuba gear onboard and dive into the clear warm waters to see the beautiful marine life. When you have worked up an appetite, come back onboard for a delicious lunch, whether its fresh fish caught an hour before or an exquisite meal prepared by Vanessa the Chef.

After lunch you'll once again, lift the anchor and start the second passage on a plotted course to a sheltered bay for the evening.

On arrival at your evening's anchorage you'll cool off with a swim, then have a cocktail with a few Happy Hour few snacks while watching the sunset. While this is going on the Chef will be preparing a scrumptious dinner, which will be served under the stars by the Skipper and Chef.

When it's time for sun and fun, when it's time for sailing and playing in the azure blue waters and balmy breezes of the BVI, when it's time to be pampered in luxury by your own private crew, it's HAPPY TIME!

New to the BVI charter scene for the 2011-2012 season. HAPPY TIME, a 2010 Vision 450 catamaran, built in Cape Town, South Africa by Matrix Yachts, is an innovative, thoroughly modern, performance design and has been finished to mega yacht standards in keeping with Matrix Yachts’ reputation established by her larger cousin, the highly successful Silhouette 760.

The genius and passion of her designer and builder is apparent in all facets of the yacht down to the smallest detail. Her accommodations are luxurious and the volume of the staterooms is similar to those found on much larger yachts. 

The immediate impression upon boarding HAPPY TIME is one of spaciousness and generous headroom (6'8" in the salon and 6'5" in the staterooms). She has three staterooms for guests, two with queen sized beds and one with a king sized bed and a fourth stateroom for her full time crew. Each stateroom has a large bathroom equipped with separate shower stalls and full sized fresh water flush electric toilets.

The yacht is fully air conditioned and has a high output reverse osmosis water maker powered by a whisper quiet generator. Her spacious salon has the look of a high end apartment and is filled with natural light from the large forward and side facing windows which provide a panoramic view.

A large flat screen TV with a DVD player faces the large settee and dining table. The galley is elegant and ergonomic and is equipped with high end appliances, including an ice maker. With the sliding salon door and the aft facing galley window open, the interior blends naturally with the outside.

The aft deck is shaded by a hard top bimini and is centered on a large dining table with seating for eight and features a built in refrigerator. Her two "sugar scoop" swim platforms make boarding a snap. The huge forward deck is perfect for lounging at anchor and is a fun place to hang out when underway.

Combine these excellent design factors with an outstanding and experienced crew and you find AVALON, a little bit of chartering-heaven, floating in the British Virgin Islands.

If you are in need of some time in Paradise then Paul and Melissa can take you there on AVALON. An experienced and charming couple with whom you can feel comfortable and relaxed and who delight in ensuring their guests have the vacation of a lifetime.

Paul is from Greater Manchester, UK, and has been sailing since the age of four. He was brought up dinghy sailing and
successfully campaigned many highly competitive seasons in dinghy classes. He has also raced in several offshore races and completed yacht deliveries in the Irish Sea, North Sea, Caribbean Sea, and Trans-Atlantic. With such a love of the sea it was only natural that Paul wanted to add the qualifications to match his experience and established his career as a charter yacht captain.

For two years Paul studied Watersports Activity Leadership at College at Falmouth Marine School. He is a Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore as well as an RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor, RNLI trained beach lifeguard and a PADI open water diver. Paul enjoys windsurfing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding and saltwater fishing. When sailing in open water, Paul always encourages his guests to catch a Tuna or Mahi Mahi for Melissa to create wonderfully fresh meals.

Melissa is from Cheshire, UK and was also brought up sailing dinghies from a young age. She has always enjoyed entertaining and gained her formal culinary training at the Rosie Davies Cookery School. Modern European and Asian style dishes are a specialty, but all of Melissa’s menus are tailored to her guests’ specific preferences and are created with a health conscious ethos. You will feel just as safe with Melissa at the helm as Paul. Melissa is also a Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore, an RYA Dinghy Instructor, RYA Powerboat Instructor and PADI open water diver.

When she’s not reading gastro magazines or experimenting with new recipes, Melissa enjoys all watersports, photography and horse riding.

Paul and Melissa both love children and welcome families onboard. Paul is happy to entertain the children with beach games and fun packed days in and on the water. And coming from a large family he has plenty of experience! Meanwhile Melissa will more than happily cater to the children’s tastes so that they too have a vacation to remember.

Together Paul and Melissa will make sure you enjoy your vacation on AVALON at your own pace. Either action packed and on the go, or if you prefer moving to the beat of a slower drum, Paul will happily make you one of his mouth watering cocktails while you indulge in reading a good book.
